HTTP redirect checker
Follow a public URL’s redirect chain. Inspect each response status, destination and address, including loops and moves from HTTPS to HTTP.
Redirect trace
Follow a public URL’s redirect chain. Inspect each response status, destination and address, including loops and moves from HTTPS to HTTP.
How to use this tool
Enter a web address. The tool requests each redirect destination in sequence, resolving and validating it before connecting. Relative Location headers are resolved against the current URL. The result shows the route a request followed and where it stopped.
Reading the results
Only HTTP redirects are followed; JavaScript navigation and HTML refresh instructions are not executed. The chain has a hop and time limit. Sites can vary redirects by browser, cookies or location, so the route observed from our server may differ from yours.
